Stefan Diez , renowned designer born in 1971, has developed the innovative D1 office swivel chair for the office furniture manufacturer Wagner . The D1 series is characterized by the further developed Dondola seat joint, which is integrated into a new type of mesh-covered tubular steel frame. This frame enables four-axis movement of the chair upper section and adapts to the natural movements of the body, resulting in a healthier and more dynamic sitting posture. The chair offers optimal adaptation to different sitting positions and is equipped with castors that enable movement in space. This development reflects Wagner's philosophy, which focuses on health and well-being, and shows Diez's ability to combine technical innovation with aesthetic design.

Dynamics instead of just ergonomics

Together with Wagner, Stefan Diez reinvents the office chair. The D1, or rather the Dondola joint, focuses primarily on dynamism in addition to the classic ergonomic school.

D1 swivel chair family
Groundbreaking design

Office chairs are often considered unattractive, but that has changed with the introduction of the D1 Office Chair and its even trendier brother, the D1 Low Chair by Wagner. This range of chairs, designed by Stefan Diez for office furniture manufacturer Wagner, brings a revolutionary redesign through the openly presented Dondola 4D joint, which allows movement in four axes and thus redefines dynamic sitting. The chairs, which have already won several awards, represent "sitting in the 4th dimension" according to Wagner Living.

Working dynamically
Office

The D1 Office chair brings the groundbreaking Dondola concept into our office world. If Wagner and Stefan Diez hadn't already thought of it, we would still have to dream of this combination!
